Thanks To Dus Ka Dum, This Lady Has Bagged The Lead In Ekta Kapoor’s Dil Hi To Hai

Salman Khan is known for giving a break to up and coming artistes and even rank newcomers. Katrina Kaif, Sneha Ullal, Daisy Shah and Zareen Khan are proof... And now, all thanks to Salman’s TV show Dus Ka Dum, another new girl is stepping into the glamour world.

The name is Yogita Bihani.  In case it doesn’t ring a bell, let’s tell you that it’s the same girl who was seen in the first promo of Dus Ka Dum.

A source close to the show informed SpotboyE.com that after seeing the overwhelming response that the lady received on the show, Sony TV recommended her name to Ekta Kapoor. Ekta’s team was reportedly floored by Yogita’s confidence and screen presence.

The lucky girl has bagged her very first role in Ekta Kapoor's TV show Dil Hi To Hai. Confirming the news, Yogita said to a daily, “It could not have been bigger than this. For any newcomer, bagging Ekta Kapoor's show is the biggest platform that one can get. I am super excited and equally nervous too,” she added.

Sharing more about her role, she said, “The role of Palak Sharma is that of a happy-go-lucky person with strong feminist opinions. I am looking forward to start shooting soon and hope that the audience appreciates my work." Dil Hi Toh Hai will premiere soon on Sony Entertainment Television.”

A few days back, we exclusively brought to you that Omkar Kapoor refused to shoot for the lead character in Dil Hi Toh Hai.

Post which, Karan Kundra stepped into his shoes.

The show was rumoured to be remake of Kabhi Khushi Khabhi Gam. Although, Ekta took her twitter to clear the air and said she is just making a show on a business class family.
